In act 1 scene 2 Caesar was parading around Rome the he gets offered the crown he declines it 3 times. That is what casca says. He then said that if Caesar would have killed their parents they would still forgive him. At the beginning of the scene a Soothsayer tell Caesar to beware of the ides of March. Cassius talks to Brutus and leaks the idea that he wants to kill Caesar.

Flavius and Murellus are angry as most people in Rome are celebrating the return of Caesar . They are angry as the made it public holiday. A few week ago they were celebrating Pompy and now they are celebrating his death. They then went around Rome tacking down anythingg that commemorates Caesar.
